The Purpose of This Role The Content Marketing & Campaign Manager is a contract basis, remote position at Snappy Kraken with an anticipated start date of October 2023, and an end date of January 24, 2025. This person is the go-to expert on Snappy Kraken’s content marketing strategy. The Content Marketing and Campaign Manager is a curious and creative storyteller who's passionate about content marketing with a love for writing compelling and persuasive copy to grow demand and move prospects down the funnel. They geek out when building high-performing content campaigns that drive qualified traffic – all in an authentic voice that fits the financial advisor industry and the Snappy Kraken brand. They are excited by the endless possibilities of demand gen through content and product marketing, and telling a brand’s story while driving awareness and a strong online reputation. The Content Marketing & Campaign Manager will report to the Interim Head of Marketing position and manage the Digital Marketing and Campaign Specialist. Primary Role & Responsibilities The Content Marketing & Campaign Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day content marketing activities that affect the following KPIs: Leads, MQLs, SQLs, ARR Website traffic and performance Blog post volume SERP rankings Event/webinar registrations and attendance Social Media followers, engagement, and more To accomplish the above, this leader will focus on: Building and executing the content marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, enable sales, drive demand and nurture leads, working closely with Head of Lead & Demand Gen and the rest of the marketing team Writing persuasive sales copy that converts for a variety of marketing needs including landing pages, emails, and social posts Content creation, curating, and editing for a variety of asset types and marketing campaigns, leaning on and working with third party copywriters, freelance digital designer, and in-house creative agency as necessary Supporting all content needs related to product led growth strategies and GTM initiatives for new feature/product releases Ownership of the content marketing calendar and support in building our quarterly demand gen calendar Building brand reputation and thought leadership strategies Manage website content and SEO strategy to drive ongoing improvements in SERPs/organic search results Supporting enterprise and partner marketing initiatives with the Enterprise team Ownership of the Social Media marketing plan and strategy Managing needs for new campaigns and building project and creative briefs Managing content marketing needs and requests to in-house Creative Agency Supporting content needs for in-person and virtual events, and facilitating webinar presentations Supporting the marketing team with campaign planning, execution and project management Developing sales collateral, case studies, FAQs and other assets to accelerate the sales process Monitoring and reporting on content performance as it relates to KPIs and business goals to inform future strategy and tactics Coaching and developing Digital Marketing and Campaign Specialist, and dotted line reports including Digital Marketing Designer Primary Qualifications 3+ years of content experience Saas, Technology industry experience is preferred but not required Strong organizational skills, especially in managing content calendars and social media Proven ability to collaborate effectively with members of the Marketing team, Sales team, and Content team Agile and adaptable, with a focus on demand generation and sales-related content Demand Generation, Sales content focused Experience in product marketing is a plus BA/BS degree in a related field is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills Proven experience producing in a virtual environment Proper remote working environment with stable high-speed internet, electricity, and appropriate working space Strong asynchronous communication ability Tech-Savvy and highly comfortable working with remote communication software Ability to be productive, disciplined, and trustworthy while working independently Our company's core values reflect who our people are. Pay will be based on several factors, such as experience, certifications, location, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs.
